In Western Astrology, to get an astrology report you should know the exact time of your birth and the location. Based on this information, a wheel chart containing 12 houses is produced which shows you the location of the planets at the time of your birth. This is known as your Natal Chart. From a Natal chart, some of the areas that a professional astrologer can talk to you about are your personality, parents, siblings, education, career, marriage, and divorce.

The 1st house in an astrology chart is about you, your personality, your early life, your appearance, and your childhood. It is at this house that you find your ascendant (the rising planet at the time of your birth).
The 2nd house in an astrology chart is about financial matters, your talents and emotions. It is basically a combination of all these elements.
The 3rd house in an astrology chart is about communication. Early childhood education, short trips, brothers, sisters, and relatives are found in this house as well.
The 4th house in an astrology chart is about family and home. It is about your roots, your parents, your background, and the final phase of your life. Real estate can be found in this house as well.
The 5th house in an astrology chart is about Children, Romance and Culture. It is also about taking risks, and gambling.
The 6th house in an astrology chart is about Skills and Health and how you deal with them.
The 7th house in an astrology house is about marriage and relationships. Relationships also include your business partners. Divorce and lawsuit issues are normally found here in this house as well.
The 8th house in an astrology chart is about change, death and rebirth. It is also about transformation. Taxes, and insurance issues are found here too.
The 9th house in an astrology chart is about your beliefs. Religion, your views, higher education, in-laws and long distance trips are also covered in this house.
The 10th house in an astrology chart is about social Status and career.
The 11th house in an astrology is about friends and your hopes.
The 12th house in an astrology is your unconscious, secret enemies even misfortunes.
