Water is the study of the flow of Chi (Qi) or energies in our environment. Chi is defined as the "life force" that exists within all beings. We can loosely translate chi to energies even though it is more than that.  Everything can emit Chi.  Anything beautiful, like a nice flower or beautiful person emits good Chi.  On the other hand, ugly objects such as dead flowers or messy houses emit bad Chi.

Feng Shui can be used for both Yin and Yang houses.  It means that it can be used for the tombs as well as houses.  Chinese believed that the a favourable location and direction of their ancestors' tombs can affect their well being and fortune.  Believe it or not it is still practiced by some.

Feng Shui can also play a role in our life from health to wealth.  There are houses that are bad no matter what type of cures you use, and there are very lucky houses and anything in between.

Some areas in which Feng Shui can be used are:
